Do not be afraid! the Beast is not as scary as you might think. I was a little worried about how big it would look and how heavy it would feel. It's surprisingly comfortable and does not feel as heavy as I was expecting. Feels amazingly natural on the wrist. Besides being good looking and cool. (Still talking about the watch)

As a watch enthusiast with more than 35 watches in my collection including Rolex and a number of swiss movement watches, the Carbon Beast has become one of my favorite watches! Beautiful to look at if you are interested in the unique movement, which captured my attention, and the attention to detail. It wears smaller than I thought it would given it's rather robust dimensions. The shape of the watch is a game changer with it's sapphire crystal as a bonus. So very well done I may order the Quantus V3 Rose. It also is a conversation piece - with two balance wheels - which must work together for the watch to keep time! Now there is a clear illustration for teamwork don't you think. Fantastic watch!

I've been wanting to try an egard for a couple of years because of your ads, but my watch money went into a couple of hamiltons first. I wasn't sure about a Chinese movement, but that double heartbeat and curved sapphire crystal were enough to at least try it. I'm glad I did as this looks much nicer in person and on my 8 inch wrist. my ecozilla is bigger so I knew it wouldn't be an issue for me size wise. the beast looks perfectly at home on my wrist. I was hoping the band would be a little longer; I'm using the second to last hole. do you sell longer bands separately? anyway, I'm loving the watch and the company. my poor hamiltons and citizens will be neglected for quite a while. really looking forward to getting the phantom!

Great watch, my favorite in my collection. The clasp mechanism isn’t the strongest holding. Has a tendency to pop open sometimes. Concerning when riding motorcycle, worried it could pop open and fall off.

I've purchased 4 watches from egards. The last one was the Poseidon Octo. That watch caught my wife's eye. I own a large collection and she never says anything about the other watches I wear. The Octo is a stunner.

The communication was terrible and waited over a month. If I wanted any updates, I had to pursue them. I wished they had kept me up to date on the progress instead of me asking all the time. The watch is beautiful and lives up to its name. Upon initially purchasing a watch from a small brand I did not know what to expect, however, I was surprised by the overall quality and feel of the watch upon receiving it.
The watch feels fairly rich for the price and the curved sapphire glass looks quite extraordinary. There is a nice bit of finishing on the movement which is also very good for the price. This watch does indeed appear quite chunky and large however, if you have anything larger than a 7 inch wrist it should fit with no problems.
This all would give the watch a 5 star, however what brings it down are small imperfections which overall ruin the look and feel of the watch. The XII on the top of the watch is crooked and misaligned, there are small but very obvious pieces of gunk or debris sitting on the top of the dial. The last problem being large amounts of stains which are really apparent when the sun hits the watch at particular angles, as if someone handled the parts with their bare hands and did not care to wipe them.
The watch by itself is very nice for the price, it is a pity that lack of care towards the watch is what ruins the overall experience and feel of the watch.

I am disappointed in the band. I bought this for my boyfriend and he is a big guy. The band barely fits on his wrist. I had asked if you had larger bands b4 I bought it and never received a response. It also does not have the normal ability to change out the band. We bought additional bands and then realized we will have to take to a jeweler to see if they can swap out the band.

This is the very first quality watch I have ever purchased. In the past I would buy basic watches and when the battery would wear out or they would get damaged I would just toss them and buy another. I do have a Garmin sports watch I use when doing exercise, but I prefer something nicer for work and my day to day. When I first heard about these watches I was curious, did some research and saw their story and knew I had to support this company. Not only did the design look great (what originally drew me in) but the company's vision and ethics sealed the deal. I love the fact I have an auto watch that looks excellent with all the various gears and attention to detail showing. I was worried about the size at first but it fits nicely on my wrist and I can thank my sports watch for getting me used to something a bit larger. The weight feels good and isn't as heavy as I expected. What a brilliant design and I am glad to own something so original and well made.

This was my seventh Egard watch and another is on the way. First, I’m a large guy and this watch fits me perfectly. It is extremely comfortable and I hardly notice it’s there. Second, I can’t stop looking at it and others notice it as well. Simply beautiful and at first I thought the small dial face would make telling time a little difficult, but that’s not the case at all. Easy to see and the carbon fiber detail is an example of the creative detail I love in Egard timepieces.

Well I just got it. I have many Swiss brand watches in my collection and I have to say the build quality is fantastic. I’ll give it a full review after the end of January and have time to experience and reflect on the time piece. I have 10 days in Vegas next month and I’m looking forward to showing it to many people.

Absolutely love The Quantum Carbon Beast. I wear it everyday and while I do everything. Rain or shine its still amazing. The light scratches from constant wear around the Sapphire Crystal are perfect, adds character and adds history to this amazing time piece. Best $495 Ive ever invested in a watch period. I rather wear this watch than a smart watch or any other automatic. Its a watch with quality that will match a Rolex collection or an AP collection, Egard watches are definitely top Tier in the Watch Game. The Quantum Carbon Beast has Superior craftsmanship most definitely I must say.

The left balancing wheel stops when the watch is turned vertical, not facing up. It also runs slower then the right balancing wheel, visually noticeable, disappointed!
